A Blast From the Past

While doing a bit of cleaning I came across an old photo of my cousin Al when he was a baby. My Aunt and Uncle were a couple of photography enthusiasts back in the day so there are tons of amazing photographs tucked away in boxes all over the house. When I saw the photo of my cousin making a cute duck face while contemplating…well, whatever it is that babies contemplate…I just had to record it in my sketchbook.

Hmm…you gotta wonder what he’s thinking about though. Maybe blue Play-Dough vs. red? Why Ernie on Sesame Street is obsessed with a rubber duck? Or maybe he’s thinking about quantum particles and their exact role in the creation and evolution of the universe…Yeah, It’s probably that last one.
